The New England Livery Association held its 5th annual George Colarullo Memorial Golf Tournament at the Sheraton Colonial in Wakefield, MA on August 10th. The event is named after longtime owner of Corporate Limousine Services who was one of the founders of the NELA.

The event was graced by a spectacular New England day for the 78 golfers hitting the links for a day of fun and relaxation. The lead sponsors were our longtime supporters Wolpert Insurance and Ford Fleet Limousine and Livery Vehicles division. We are grateful to you both as well as to the Hole in One sponsor, TCT Coach Sales of Millbury, MA. We are also thankful to the other 16 corporate sponsors and the volunteers including Stephanie Prince of Prince Limousine and Terri White, wife of NELA president and noted hacker Larry White.

Naturally, NELA Executive Director, Rick Szilagyi was in the middle of the whole event, as was the Golf Committee of Mike Pazzaneze, Jack Gardner and Tim Kelly. The team from B&L Limousine took home the coveted trophy and will have their names engraved on it just like they do at the British Open. Hard on their heels were the teams from Corporate Limousine and CEO Transportation. All golfers were treated to a bag lunch courtesy of Weldon Coach. Following the action a delicious meal was served compliments of our friends at Royale Limousine Manufacturers. The bar did a brisk business as did the drinks cart on the course.

This was really a terrific day, and we hope to see more new faces next year. If you want to reward chauffeurs or other staff members, invite clients, or just relax and enjoy yourself, the NELA golf outing is a great way to do so. Thanks again to our tremendous sponsors and volunteers. See you next year when we celebrate the 6th annual George Colarullo Tournament by reaching the 100 golfer mark!
